Set the battery jumper
1. If attached, unscrew the four corner casing screws.
2. Remove the X1100 cover to access the battery
jumper and the end of line termination jumpers.
3. Set the battery jumper J4 to ON.

Device configuration

  1. Connect an Ethernet cable to the controller and enable controllers default settings, by turning ON switch '2' in DIP switches.
  2. Open web browser and connect to controller over IP address:
  3. Note: use Firefox browser to avoid certificate validation errors.

  4. Turn on switch "1" to enable default login details:
    Username: admin
    Password: password
  5. At "Network" tab configure IP address of the device.
  6. At "Host Comm"  set connection type to "IP Client".
  7. "Host IP" to machine address, where CredoID service is running. Set "Connection Mode" to "Continuous".
  8. Data Security: TLS Required.
  9. Port number: 3002
  10. Press "Accept" and then "Apply Settings". Set all switches to OFF.

CredoID configuration

  1. If device configured correctly it should appear at "Discover" automatically.
  2. Select configured device from "Discover list".
  3. Enter device name.
  4. If modules connected to X1100 device, click checkbox "RS485 port x is enabled" .

  5. Select communication type:

    V100, V200, V300HID VertXDefault rate 38400.
  6.  Press save.

    If V100, V200, V300 modules were used with V1000, before connecting modules to the Aero X1100 controller, update modules over VertX EVO web UI.

Module detection

It is highly recommended to use automatic module detection, if device module fails to appear, most likely it is caused by wrong hardware connection.
  1. Press "Module"s tab
  2. Press "Discover" button, to automatically discover modules.
